  • Taking ownership of feature delivery from concept to production
  • Analyzing customer interactions to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Being an active participant in team meetings, providing insights into technical specs, potential challenges, and best development practices.

Top Skills We Require

  • Fluency with our tech stack - Our tech stack is Node.JS for the backend and React.JS for the frontend. We use MySQL for the database. You will also need to be comfortable with AWS and basic dev-ops.
  • Familiarity with design - You need to know your way around Figma designs and prototypes, and be comfortable sometimes implementing features without design support.
  • Product Strategy - You will need to help build and maintain the product roadmap
  • Accountability - You’ll be responsible for uptime and developer operations
  • Communication - Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with our team and guiding contractors.

Note: Please provide examples of your experience with the above skills in your application.

Why you might be excited about this role

  • You’re passionate about Crew’s mission. You’re interested in career development and value being part of a category-defining company.

  • You want to be involved in product and design. At this stage in our company’s journey product, design, and engineering are closely intertwined.
  • You’re a self-starter. You like to build and ship new things and can take a project from idea through implementation with minimal outside help when necessary.
  • You want to work primarily remotely. We are a remote team that gets together every few months. We are currently only hiring in the U.S.

Why you might not be excited about this role

  • We are a young company, you will be one of our first three full-time hires. If you prefer more established companies and plans, this role isn’t for you.
