Coach / Facilitator

Join our team as a dedicated Coach/Facilitator to lead our career design coaching cohorts for clients. As a Coach/Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional group coaching experience, demonstrating what good coaching looks like/sounds like, and ensuring that every Crew’er (coachee) has a memorable and impactful experience with our coaching. You will also work closely with our founding team in providing feedback on our coaching programs and insights on our Crew’ers’ experiences to ensure we deliver outstanding service in every one of our programs. This is a contract role, consisting of 17 paid hours (12 delivery hours, 5 hours of prep) over 12 weeks, with specific start and end dates to be confirmed once onboarded.

About the Job

As a Coach/Facilitator, your bi-weekly journey will involve a hybrid of preparation and delivery time.

You will:

  • Review the upcoming activity and ensure you’re familiar with the activity flow, timing, nature of the questions/activities, and how to flex if there are more or less attendees than usual
  • Collaborate with Crew’s Head of Programming to give feedback on session flow, wording, and any reactions (positive or negative) to the content
  • Ensure your designed alliance sets Crew’ers up for success in session (and so they deepen their understanding of what coaching is)
  • Deliver the session in the ways you already know how to do (powerful questions, challenging clients, accountability, humor, facilitating their learning rather than simply lecturing, etc.)
  • Complete the post-session survey in a timely manner so we can have fresh insights into your experience

Top Skills We Require

Front of Room Presence  - Ability to engage a group of strangers with energy, passion, and efficiency.

Flexibility and Adaptability - Skilled at changing things on the fly when things change - see technology malfunctions, user error from coachees, some attendees don’t show up or inform us they will be missing, etc.

Communication - Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with teams and interacting with customers.

Time Management  - As this is a part-time role, the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively within the allocated hours is key - especially in sessions as you manage a schedule and activity flow.
